Just a quick one tonight.
I bought a battery hold down kit on eBay late last week, and it arrived today. Projecta is a great Australian brand, and the quality of this item is excellent, especially for $14.50 delivered.
I already had new bolts and wing nuts from Economy Bolts in Dandenong, so all I had to do was put it all together.
For anyone interested, I am using an AGM battery. AGM’s crank harder and are more tolerant to cycling than a conventional flooded calcium battery. More importantly they don’t have any excess acid inside, so even if punctured, they don’t leak.
